Trattoria Lisina / Mandola Winery

On Friday we went to the Mandola Winery and Trattoria Lisina in Driftwood, TX. The grounds are really pretty, the weather was perfect (high 70's with a nice breeze) and the dinner was great. Plus, Evelyn got to play her first game of Bocce.

Spencer Charles Castellani was born on October 31, 2007 at 7:16am in Austin, Texas.
He weighed 9 lbs 7 oz, and was 21 inches long.
The delivery went smoothly, and both Melissa and Spencer are doing great.

Early Halloween??

I found this guy on our back deck this morning. It's the biggest spider I've ever seen outside of a zoo. From front to back leg, she was about two inches long!

Itsy-bitsy spider? I dont' think so.
